Lídia Neves, Of Counsel at Antas da Cunha Ecija & Associados, Sociedade de Advogados R.L., graduated in Law from the Portuguese Catholic University of Lisbon, has a master’s degree in law from the same university and a postgraduate degree in Industrial Property Law from the Faculty of Law of Lisbon. Among several other courses, she has completed a professional training course on Drafting Patent Applications at the National Institute of Industrial Property.
From 2007 to 2013, Lídia was a trainee and an associate lawyer at CCA Ontier and, from 2013 to 2023, she was an associate and senior associate at Miranda & Associados, with specialization in the areas of intellectual property law, information technology and data protection in several jurisdictions, namely, Portugal, Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, São Tomé and Príncipe, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, several countries of the Francophone Africa and Timor-Leste.
Lídia is an Official Industrial Property Agent and European Trademark and Design Attorney, a competent Arbitrator for disputes submitted to Voluntary Arbitration with ARBITRARE – Arbitration Centre for Industrial Property, Domain Names, Firms and Denominations and an IP Scan expert, integrating the list of experts of the Intellectual Property Office of the European Union.
